We would take road trips at Easter and over the summer in the bus.
Daddy would remove the middle bench seat and put egg crate foam and
blankets on the floor so we could lay down to color or nap.
He put a commode behind the driver's seat, enclosed in a plywod box
he built, and Mommy sewed a curtain that she hung up around it so
we could cut down on how many times we had to stop for bathroom breaks.

Mommy and Daddy got divorced.  Daddy transferred to job in KY

Snowed on Easter when arriving in NJ by plane
I remember there were woods behind this house with a walking trail.
I remember getting stung by a bee in the back yard.
I remember a sink in a bedroom.
I think we were living here when we got Asta, our white German Shepherd.

Mary born there
I have some vague memories of this house. A wooden picnic table on the back
screen porch. Azalea bushes. A woodsy back yard. Cowboy and cowgirl outfits
as gifts from Big Mama when she visited.
